Wednesday, February 11, 2004: OH MY GOD!!! >_< ohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygodohmygod I am freaking out!! okay. we went in to do the last part of our sample preparation for lab tonight (the samples are due tomorrow morning in class). We decanted our fluid and let it sit, then had to wait for another group to finish up with the centrifuge. it took them a while- it was about 1230am when they finished, but hey, we just needed to centrifuge our sample 7 times and put it on slides to dry overnight. yeah, we’d be up late, but it’d be done. So the other group gets done and comes and gets us in the computer lab where we were waiting. so we go into the lab room- and the beaker with our sample in it is GONE. G-O-N-E GONE. so at first we’re like “no way, it can’t be gone,” so we look around a bit- no beaker of sample. then the horror hit as we realized what happened...THE GUYS WE WERE WAITING ON ACCIDENTLY RINSED OUT OUR BEAKER ALONG WITH THEIRS. we found our beaker in the drainer...empty. So then we went into denial and all three of us were freaking out, cussing and looking everywhere, but we had to face it- they dumped our sample. the sample that took 16 HOURS to precipitate out, and that we had been waiting 2 AND A HALF HOURS THERE TO PUT IN THE CENTRIFUGE. So now there is NO WAY we can have this done. none. we finally calmed down a little and agreed to explain what happened to the teacher tomorrow, but AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA, I am so PISSED OFF!! So if any othe above is gibberish, it’s because I’m MAD AS HELL, and it’s 130 in the fucking morning and all the time I put into this lab has just been WASTED. SHIT!!!!
